Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PDFdesk website and application at koenigweber.com (the “Service”), operated by König & Weber Services GMB Ltd. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About us
The Service is operated by König & Weber Services GMB Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16489947, with its registered office at Flat 1, 27 Hathaway Road, Croydon, United Kingdom, CR0 2TQ. You can contact us at support@koenigweber.com.
2. The Service
PDFdesk provides browser-based tools for working with PDF documents, including merging, splitting and extracting pages, rotating, watermarking, page numbering and converting images to PDF. Document processing takes place locally in your browser: the contents of the files you work on are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
We may improve, add or remove individual tools or features at any time. Where a change materially reduces the functionality of a paid plan, we will notify subscribers in advance by email.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to enter into these Terms.
4. Plans, pricing & payment
The Service is offered on monthly subscription plans: Standard (€79/month), Professional (€89/month) and Business (€95/month). Prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. The features and usage limits of each plan are described on our pricing page.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. The subscription fee is charged at the start of each billing period using the payment method you provide. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend access to the Service until payment is made.
We may change plan prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes take effect from your next billing period after the notice period.
5. Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to the Service until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a newly purchased subscription. By starting to use the Service immediately, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that, if you cancel within the 14-day period, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the service already provided.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Service you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- process documents that you do not have the right to use or modify;
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers or accounts of other users;
- resell, sublicense or make the Service available to third parties except as permitted by a Business plan’s seat allowance;
- circumvent usage limits, or reverse engineer the Service except to the extent permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (but excluding your documents), is owned by König & Weber Services GMB Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights in the documents you process; because processing is local to your browser, we do not obtain any rights over, or copies of, your document contents.
8. Availability & liability
The Service is provided with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we recommend that you keep copies of your original files.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in that period.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident elsewhere retain the protection of mandatory provisions of, and the right to bring proceedings in, their country of residence.
